Ms. Ann-Marie Palmer Principal of C. Wayne Collier Elementary School.

Dear Members of the Collier Family:

We hope you have had a safe and enjoyable summer with your families and are ready to return to learning with the Collier School Family. Although this year may look quite different than in school years past, we want you to know that our main priorities have not changed. Our first priority is to ensure that your child has a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment.

This year that will mean that we will begin our year together virtually and that we, as a staff, will be following strict safety protocols to stay healthy and well. Secondly, we are committed to providing a learning environment that provides engaging, rigorous, and standards-driven lessons for all of our students no matter what their individual needs may be–we will work together to support each student to achieve success. Finally, we are a family at C. Wayne Collier. We want to work closely with you to ensure that we have built supportive relationships between home and school so our students know that they mean the world to us and that, together, we can overcome any challenges that may come our way!

Ann-Marie Palmer,
Principal

Mr. Brian Freeman Assistant Principal of C. Wayne Collier Elementary School.

Welcome Collier Family:

I am excited to see you even if it is virtually. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the smiling faces of the best students in Cumberland County. First, I hope each of you are healthy and safe. I have truly missed you. I would like to extend a big welcome to our new students and families.

Even though we will not begin the year face to face; we are still here to support, encourage and educate you. This year we want you to adopt the hashtag #CollierStrong. We are a school family and when we work together; we are stronger and can make all things possible. Not only will we need to be strong this year but we will need a lot of patience and understanding as we adapt to a new way of learning.

Our teachers and staff are working hard to prepare awesome remote lessons for you. I know you are going to enjoy what they have to offer. We still have the same high expectations for your learning and behavior. I look forward to seeing how Collier takes remote learning to the next level.

Happy Learning,

Brian Freeman,
Assistant Principal

#CollierStrong
